Rashid Khan raised some doubts over the simplicity of the Kolkata Knight Riders’ chase of 116 in the Sunrisers Hyderabad’s IPL contest on Sunday. After limping to just 115/8 off their 20 overs thanks to some wonderful bowling from the likes of Tim Southee and Sunil Narine, SRH looked out of the game from early on, but a couple of wickets inside the first ten overs have put some pressure on KKR. The in-form Venkatesh Iyer and Rahul Tripathi were the two to fall, and the burden could yet fall on the captain Eoin Morgan, who is desperate for some runs.

One brings two as Rashid strikes in his first over to remove Tripathi. #KKR now 38-2 after seven – suddenly that 116 doesn’t seem such a small target… #IPL2021
