Youngster Qasim Akram picked the all-important wicket of Sharjeel Khan in Pakistan’s National T20 Cup. Although the match between Sindh and Central Punjab was marred by rain, Akram was quite impressive with his off-spin. He also got ride of senior pro Sarfaraz Khan as he hoicked a ball flat to catching mid-wicket. Shoaib Malik was adjudged the player of the match as Central Punjab reigned supreme by 12 runs after the target was adjusted in accordance with DLS norms.
