West Indies all-rounder Roston Chase, who is uncapped in T20Is, elbowed his way into the T20 World Cup squad after making a big splash in both CPL 2020 and 2021 for the St Lucia Kings franchise. Chase has shown the ability to knit the innings together while still scoring at a fair clip. He will be an excellent foil for the more freewheeling players in the team. Windies’ are always prime contenders in the T20 World Cup as mastery in the slam-bang form comes organically to them.
