(Video) Enjoy every boundary of Ollie Pope’s colossal 274

Ollie Pope hit an enormous 274 runs for Surrey against Glamorgan in the last round of the County Championship this week, and fell one short of re-establishing his average at the Kia Oval to over 100. He now averages 99.94 at the venue, the same as the career figure of the great Sir Donald Bradman. The caveat of course was that the pitch itself was ludicrously flat, with Glamorgan themselves declaring their first innings at 672/6 and Surrey eventually making 722/4, but the call to arms from England captain Joe Root is for his players to get greedy on forgiving surfaces – Pope did just that.
