(Video) Australia’s winning streak remains unscathed as sloppy India botch up

Indian Women came tantalizingly close to preventing Australia’s red-hot winning streak from extending to 26 games but poor groundwork robbed them of the golden chance. India put up a strong 274 on the board and had Australia gasping in response early at 54/4, but it was the ever-reliable Beth Mooney and Tahlia McGrath who held their nerve to resuscitate the chase.

Still, India had the upper hand till the very last ball with Australia three shy of the target. But Jhulan Goswami’s waist-high no-ball came at an inopportune juncture and India ended up on the wrong side of what was a game they should have closed out.
