(Video) Warwickshire make first inroads thanks to Tim Bresnan worldie

Tim Bresnan took a stunning catch at first slip to give Danny Briggs and Warwickshire their first wicket on a decisive fourth day at Edgbaston. Having declared on 294/3 in their second innings thanks to a magnificent, quickfire 132 not out from Rob Yates, the Bears handed Chris Woakes and Liam Norwell the new ball in the hope of getting quick wickets as Somerset set about chasing 273.

It was the slow left arm of Briggs which did the damage in the end, though, finding the edge of Tom Lammonby, a nick which went quickly to Bresnan but found itself nestled into an outstretched left palm. The home side need nine more wickets after lunch to win the County Championship.
