Sohail Tanvir picked up the first wicket of this year’s Pakistan National T20 Cup, dismissing Imam-Ul-Haq of Baluchistan for six off the last ball of the first over. The delivery was a superb one, the left-armer swinging it in at decent pace through the defences of the Pakistan opener. The competition is made up of six different sides, all of which are packed with international-class cricketers. With two players facing off in the opening encounter, Tanvir and Ul-Haq, who have represented their country on a great number of occasions, the quality of the competition seems indisputable.
