The Australian Women’s cricket team is in all readiness for the multi-format series against Indian starting from September 21 as Harrup Park in Mackay plays host to the first of three one-dayers. Ellyse Perry made a resounding return to new-ball duties as Australia galloped to a 36-run win in their 50-over warm-up match against India in Brisbane. Perry and teenage quick Stella Campbell claimed two wickets apiece to have the visitors in early strife at 4-88 after the hosts piled on 278/9 courtesy of half-centuries to Rachael Haynes, Meg Lanning and Beth Mooney.
