Sophie Ecclestone is currently the number one ranked T20 International bowler in women’s cricket, and will be looking to inflict more pain on the opposition as England take on New Zealand in a five-match ODI series beginning on Thursday. The 22-year-old slow left arm bowler was filmed trying her hand at some quicker deliveries in the nets before the series opener, and they looked to be coming out rather well. Having already played 30 ODIs, Ecclestone has a level of experience well beyond her years that will no doubt be driving England’s victory effort.
