(Video) James Hildreth’s torrid term continues as another tortured innings comes to an end

Somerset are struggling in the divisional phase of this year’s County Championship, and their plight has been embodied in the form of their stalwart James Hildreth. The 37-year-old is woefully out of nick, and that was on full display on day two against Lancashire at Taunton. He eventually nicked off to the bowling of George Balderson, the fourth wicket of the Somerset innings that left the home side in a whole heap of trouble at 38-4. Things could have been even worse, with Azhar Ali surviving some very tight lbw appeals.
