(Video) Reminiscing Brendan Taylor’s artistry as the Zimbabwean pro calls time on his career

Zimbabwe’s Brendan Taylor has decided to draw curtains on his 17-year career. The 34-year old former captain and one of the most prominent cricketers from his country will register his final international appearance on Monday, against Ireland.

Taylor made his debut for Zimbabwe in 2004 and has since become a mainstay of the team. His credentials in one-dayers are impressive, having scored 6677 runs from 204 games that leaves him tantalisingly close to becoming the nation’s highest run-getter in the format. The seasoned pro is already miles ahead of any Zimbabwean with 11 ODI hundreds.
