Today is George Bailey's 39th birthday, an excellent excuse to watch back some of the best moments of the Australian middle-order batsman's career. Amongst them is this set-up to the bowling of Lungi Ndidi, in which Bailey turns his back to the rapid South African before facing up and playing a forward defensive. Bailey was the captain of his country in limited-overs cricket, but is well known for his excellent anecdotes. Perhaps the best is the tale of his altercation with Jimmy Anderson, in which he took the England seamer for a few runs after some choice words out in the middle when Bailey was fielding at short leg.
