As India hunted for wickets with England seemingly stable at 100-0, he involved the crowd more and more as the hosts crumbled to 147-6. By the time Moeen Ali had departed inside edging to short leg off the bowling of Ravi Jadeja, there was a full-blown party atmosphere at the ground as the substantial Indian contingent dominated the noise-making amongst the crowd. Kohli again showed his unmatched ability to engage viewers with a format he adds more vivacity to than any other.
