England, having been 100-0 at one stage with Rory Burns and Haseeb Hameed going well, crumbled to 147-6 in less than an hour after lunch as India ran riot on day five at the Oval. It began with Ravindra Jadeja getting Hameed with a ripper from round the wicket, followed by Jasprit Bumrah cleaning up Ollie Pope and Jonny Bairstow with full, straight deliveries. Jadeja got another as Moeen Ali prodded indecisively forward, inside edging to short leg. On a day where all four results were possible, only one seems a likelihood now.
