Tom Latham was cool as a cucumber as he single-handedly escorted New Zealand within touching distance of a win in the second T20I versus Bangladesh. The final over was replete with drama as the Blackcaps required 13 runs off two balls.
Mustafizur Rahman overstepped at the most inopportune juncture and Latham rubbed salt into his wounds with a boundary. The left-hander, although, couldn’t take the Kiwis past the finish line as the hosts reigned supreme in the nail-biter by four runs. In spite of the loss, Rachin Ravindra was impressed by the grit shown by the talisman.
