(Video) Tom Banton’s electric glovework makes up for lean period with the bat

Tom Banton has struggled for runs throughout this English summer, notably failing to get away for the Welsh Fire in the Hundred. He fell for just 1 in Somerset’s T20 Blast quarter-final with Lancashire, but donned the gloves during the away side’s setting of a total. He did so during the Hundred as well, and demonstrated his incredible talents of hand-eye co-ordination as he stumped Josh Bohannon for 35. Charging down the wicket, the ball popped up into the air off the opener’s body. Banton duly plucked it, whipping off the bails in no time. Somerset went on to progress to Finals Day as they won by seven wickets.
