(Video) On what would have been Sir Donald Bradman’s 113th birthday, listen back to the great man on Sachin Tendulkar

On this day in 1908, the greatest batsman to ever live, Sir Donald Bradman, was born in New South Wales. “The Don” would go on to average 99.94 over his 52 Tests, accumulating 6996 runs in a career that has proved an untouchable burden to all who have succeeded him. Here, Bradman speaks of the burgeoning career of Sachin Tendulkar, and suggests that of all the batsmen he has seen the Little Master reminded him most of his own batting technique and capabilities. Tendulkar was always humble under the praise of Sir Don, suggesting he could not be compared with the great man. Praise indeed for both legends of the game.
