Rajasthan Royals have signed Sri Lankan all-rounder Thisara Perera for the second phase of IPL 2021 in UAE, as per InsideSport. The explosive all-rounder shared an image of him clad in the Rajasthan Royals jersey and also tagged the Instagram handle of the franchise. According to reports, Perera is likely to fill in the boots of England all-rounder Ben Stokes.
Perera recently became the first Sri Lankan cricketer to hit six sixes in an over during a domestic tournament. His unbeaten 13-ball 52 included eight sixes and was also the second-fastest half-century by a Sri Lankan in List A cricket.
