Mumbai Indians have kicked off their preparations in Dubai as the countdown begins for the second phase of IPL 2021, the former half of which was carried out customarily in India until the burgeoning Covid-19 cases forced the tournament’s suspension midway.
The defending champions have in their ranks a pocket dynamite in Ishan Kishan, who was recently on international duty as India faced neighbours Sri Lanka in a white-ball assignment. The wicketkeeper-batsman careened everything from the meat of the bat as the blue brigade sweated it out in the cosmopolitan.
