Tawhid belatedly realised that writing about cricket was easier than playing the game itself, although he still continues to embarrass himself on the lesser manicured cricket grounds of London. 

As an avid follower of Bangladesh, he figured that supporting Surrey and England would counter his disappointments, it’s rarely proved to be the case. He runs The Sight Screen Cricket Journal.
