(Video) Ravi Shastri on the moment Indian cricket changed forever

On this day fifty years ago, India secured their first ever series victory in England. They beat the hosts in the third and final Test at the Oval by four wickets to change the face of Indian cricket forever. It completed a landmark year, the first in which they had won two series, having defeated the West Indies already. The first Test at Lord’s and the second at Old Trafford were both drawn, with India coming from behind in the third having conceded a 71-run first-innings deficit. They bowled England out for just 101 in the second innings as Bhagwat Chandrasekhar took 6-38. Here Ravi Shastri reflects on the historic day.
