Fawad Alam struck his fifth Test century on Sunday, taking his side to an imposing first innings total of 302-9. Fawad finished on 124 not out, and the moment he brought up his century was met with heartfelt applause on the Pakistan balcony. He is the sixth Pakistan batter to bring up three figures at Sabina Park, and became the quickest amongst Asian batters to five Test hundreds. Fawad took 22 innings to reach the milestone, ahead of the likes of Cheteshwar Pujara (24), Sourav Ganguly (25) and Sunil Gavaskar (also 25).
