On this day in 2019, Jofra Archer made an indelible mark on Test cricket as he took his first five-wicket haul in the England whites at Headingley. The milestone was made all the more memorable as it was Australia being tormented by the right-arm quick, his figures eventually reading 6-45. The dismissals are superb viewing, with Archer’s pace and perfect areas proving far too much for the tourists and marking the beginning of one of the most remarkable Test matches in the sport’s history. The video may well carry a mournful tone for some England fans, with Archer ruled out of playing in this year’s T20 World Cup and Ashes tour down under.
