Rishabh Pant has come a long way from being a clumsy wicket-keeper who shelled sitters to a lean, mean gathering machine behind the sticks. The young stumper has worked hard on his skills and fitness under the watchful eyes of India’s fielding coach R Sridhar and head coach Ravi Shastri, who had made it clear to the once-chubby Pant that he’d have to lose his weight to sustain an international career. His pristine glovework has been a testament to the yards put in by both Pant and the support staff.
