Jake Lintott took an absolute belter of a catch to dismiss the Trent Rockets’ Samit Patel in the Southern Brave’s Hundred Eliminator match at the Kia Oval. On a day of wonderful grabs it was arguably the best, considering how hard the ball was hit by the Notts all-rounder. The Brave put on a wonderful fielding performance, restricting the Rockets to 96 all out off 91 balls, with nobody really stepping up to make a significant contribution. Indeed, Samit Patel’s was perhaps the key wicket, as he top scored with 20 off 21 balls. George Garton was the pick of the Brave bowlers, taking 3-18 off his allocation.
