Marizanne Kapp hoisted the first six of the Oval Invincibles’ innings in the eliminator against Birmingham Phoenix. Isabelle Wong’s attempt at bouncing out Kapp was neutralized easily as she picked the length early and butchered the loosener down the ground. Having scored a run-a-ball 37 built on a quartet of fours and a six, the Protean powerhouse also chipped in with the ball, accounting for openers Katie Mack and Eve Jones in a modest 116-run chase.
