Surrey’s number three Ollie Pope returned without troubling the scorers in the Royal London One Day Cup, playing all over a shooter that breached through his defences and left the stumps in a mess. The young-right hander was recently released from the England squad for the second Test against India at the Lord’s. Chris Rushworth, who castled Pope, finished with match figures of 3/49 as Durham chased down 281 to register a five-wicket win.
