Footage from inside the pavilion at Lord’s shows India’s players revelling in their most unlikely of victories against England at the Home of Cricket. Both the players and coaches are visibly ecstatic as they hug it out, and so they ought to be, after a win that looked all but impossible at the start of day five. England had dismissed the dangerous Rishabh Pant early, along with the obdurate Ishant Sharma, to put a comfortable chase and a 1-0 series lead within touching distance, but shot themselves in the foot with some strange tactics to India’s lower order, which thrived under the circumstances.
