The members of New Zealand’s squad for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup will have the privilege of picking the brains of Shane Bond, as the fast-bowling icon has been brought on board as a fourth coach for the marquee event in October-November and the ensuing three-game T20I series against India. In a video released by the board, Bond said he was familiar with the team having worked with them previously, and hence, it wouldn’t take him long to chalk out fine-tuning plans for the Kiwi attack.
Hear from Shane Bond about signing on to join the coaching group for the @T20WorldCup and T20 Series against @BCCI later this year. Bond will join the team after the completion of the @ipl where he is bowling coach for @mipaltan. #T20WorldCup #INDvNZ pic.twitter.com/MVr4TNts5v
