(Video) Vindication for Sam Curran as he topples India’s giant

Sam Curran has come in for some criticism over his role in England’s Test side this summer. In the first innings, he seemed unthreatening and predictable. But he will feel far more at home after taking the colossal wicket of Virat Kohli just before lunch. Kohli’s away Test batting average since the start of 2020 now sits at an uncharacteristically low 21.36, but his potential for greatness is always prominent when he walks out to bat. Such was mirrored in the ecstatic celebrations of Curran and in his England teammates, as they left the tourists 56-3, leading by 29, at Lunch.
