(Video) A year on from his international retirement, MS Dhoni remains ‘the people’s player’

A year ago today the great MS Dhoni retired from international cricket. The legendary keeper-batsman, along with the stars of Tendulkar and Kohli, was both the face and the very core of Indian cricket for over a decade. He led his country to two world cup trophies, a Champions Trophy and a berth as the number-one ranked Test team in the World, as well as achieving great success in the IPL with the Chennai Super Kings. A year on since his farewell to the international stage, the respect and admiration for Dhoni’s contribution to Indian cricket will only continue to grow.
