Rishabh Pant threatened an explosion on day two of the second Test between India and England at Lord’s, but Mark Wood prised out the pocket dynamite 13 shy of a fifty. The 143 kmph lifter was leaving Pant, but he stayed true to his hyper-aggressive instincts and went flaying only to nick a feather behind. Pant took the attack to the pace battery in his thrilling counter-punch and slammed a few boundaries to ease the pressure after India lost the overnight batsmen KL Rahul and Ajinkya Rahane early in the morning session.
