Ollie Peake, Liam Scott and Joel Davies earn their maiden call-ups as Australia have announced their squads for the ODI series against Pakistan as well as the white-ball tour of Bangladesh across May and June 2026. While Peake is included only for Pakistan ODIs, Scott has been picked for Bangladesh ODIs as well. Davies makes the cut only in the T20I squad against Bangladesh.
All three: Peake, Scott and Davies have been rewarded for their strong domestic performances. Scott was named the Sheffield Shield Player of the Year in 2025/26, while Davies was the Most Valuable Player at the 2025/26 Big Bash League. Peake served as Australia captain at the 2026 U19 World Cup and has also graduated to the Australia A team.
“It’s always exciting to see new players get an opportunity to play international cricket and be a part of the national team,” chair of selectors George Bailey said.
