Pakistan’s future in the tournament rests on the result of this match and they will hope to return home with a win. India will look to confirm their place in the semis with a win and the cherry on the top would be to eliminate the hosts from the tournament.
The news from the middle is that Pakistan have won the toss and chosen to bat. It looks like a similar pitch India had played Bangladesh on. Buckle up because there might just be a few cricketing fireworks about to be lit..
What a way to finish the game! Kohli gets his ton and finishes the game in style! India win the game and virtually knock Pakistan out of the tournament. Superb batting all round. Kohli the chase master, at it again!

This is excellent bowling from Harshit Rana. Its a barrage of slower balls that gets Khushdil in the end. That brings the end to the Pakistan innings. The target for India will be 242. Saud Shakeel and Rizwan had steadied the ship for them but India as usual made in roads at regular intervals. All of the Indian bowlers contributed to the wickets in some way and it was an all round performance from the Indian side.

Axar gets Rizwan! Great move by Rohit to bring in Axar one more time. He tosses one up to Rizwan who took the opportunity to step down but plays across the line only to miss the ball completely. The ball crashes into the stumps to give India a much needed wicket. Rizwan’s watchful vigil comes to an end on 44.

Saud prods Jadeja for a single on the leg side and reaches his 50! It has been an instrumental knock and one of the most important ones he will ever play. Saud has waited patiently for scoring opportunities and it has paid off.

Pakistan seemed to have learnt from the mistakes made in the last game and have rectified them in this one. The strike rotation between Rizwan and Saud has been perfect. They seemed to have pacified India’s spin attack.

22 overs in and the ball gripping just a bit, Rohit brings in Jadeja to suffocate the Pakistani batters further. The scoring rate has gone down a bit.

Two wickets down, Captain and his batting partner have started rotating the strike against India’s spin attack. Jadeja is yet to brought into attack. Sharma is sticking with Pandya for now.

Babar falls prey to Pandya’s bowling in a similar fashion to earlier matches while Imam ul Haq is run out by some exemplary fielding by Axar Patel. Pakistan had gotten to a great start but now they have lost a couple of wickets in a very short time.
