The good ol’ Test cricket is back in the Caribbean with a bang. Pakistan and West Indies will lock horns in a two-match Test series starting from August 12, and the hosts are getting into the rhythm nicely ahead of the red-ball encounters that will count towards the new cycle of the World Test Championship. Rigorous training is essential because most members of the Calypso’s 17-man provisional squad have been starved of red-ball action since June last year.
