England speedster Jofra Archer does not feature in the final list of players set to be auctioned at the Indian Premier League player auction 2025 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on November 24 and 25. The list comprises of 574 players, with 366 Indian and 208 overseas cricketers. While Archer is absent, the 42-year-old James Anderson found a mention. The 10 teams have a total of 204 slots to fill, with 70 of them reserved for overseas players. The two-day event will start at 12.30 PM Local time (3:00 PM IST).
Cameron Green is missing from the list too, having been part of a mega trade deal between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Mumbai Indians, with the former roping in the Aussie allrounder for a whopping INR 17.50 Crore. Green recently underwent lower spine surgery that has now ruled him out of action for six months – including the Australian summer.
1574 players had initially put their name up for the auction – a figure that has now been pruned by 1000.
