Rohit Sharma times his jump to perfection to remove Litton Das in spectacular fashion

The fourth day of the second Test between India and Bangladesh was proper box office, making up for the two days lost to rain and wet outfield. 437 runs were scored and 18 wickets taken in 85 overs.

Mominul Haque stood out for Bangladesh in their first innings as the southpaw notched up a fine hundred and remained unbeaten as wickets tumbled at at the other end. Jasprit Bumrah was the pick of the bowlers as he broke the 54-run stand between Mominul and Mehidy Hasan which opened the doors for India to wrap things up.

Yashasvi Jaiswal and Rohit Sharma came out with aggressive intent and brought up the team 50 in just 3 overs. There was another 50+ stand between Jaiswal and Shubman Gill before Virat Kohli and KL Rahul added 87 runs in quick time to take India past Bangladesh’s total. Rohit declared with 45 minutes left in the day and Ashwin picked up a couple of wickets to set up a delicious Day 5.
