India is at the top of the World Test Championship standings and has a strong chance of reaching the WTC Final for the third consecutive time. A win in the upcoming second Test against Bangladesh would further bolster India’s chances of making the summit clash.

India haven’t made any changes to their squad for the upcoming game, set to be played in Kanpur next week. The hosts drubbed Bangladesh by 280 runs on the fourth morning in Chennai to take 1-0 lead courtesy local lad R Ashwin’s all-round brilliance. The experienced all-rounder followed up his first-innings century with a six-fer in the second.

Indian squad for second Test against Bangladesh: Rohit Sharma (C), Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli, KL Rahul, Sarfaraz Khan, Rishabh Pant (WK), Dhruv Jurel (WK), R Ashwin, R Jadeja, Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, Mohd. Siraj, Akash Deep, Jasprit Bumrah, Yash Dayal
