New Zealand head coach Gary Stead weighed in on dasher Colin Munro’s omission from the T20 World Cup squad, reasoning that the management was content with the players who took their opportunities and performed well in the southpaw’s absence. He added that narrowing down to fifteen players was a tough call, and the experienced campaigner was unlucky to miss out. The Black Caps announced their 15-strong squad earlier in the morning for the T20 World Cup in October.
