On the fourth ball of the 14th over, Jordan conjured up a moment of sheer brilliance. With Babar well-set at the crease, Jordan produced an inch-perfect yorker that left the Peshawar skipper confounded. Babar tried to keep the brute of a ball out by attempting a steer towards point but he was not able to judge the angle and late movement as the ball cannoned into the base of the sticks.
Babar is one of the finest ball-strikers going around in world cricket. His wicket was of paramount importance for Peshawar, as he was looking primed for a big score. Swashbuckling Caribbean batter Rovman Powell joined Tom Kohler-Cadmore in the middle following the captain’s dismissal. At the time of writing, the Zalmi side was in a spot of bother, placed at 108 for four in 15 overs.
