England have confirmed 18 players in the latest Women’s central contract list for 2023-24, with Maia Bouchier and Danielle Gibson earning their first England Women Central Contract that runs till 31 October 2024.
With an eye on the future, the England and Wales Cricket Baord (ECB) have also handed development contracts to bowlers Mahika Gaur and Lauren Filer and keeper-bat Bess Heath who have shown potential by making their way into the senior set-up. As compared to last year’s list, only Freya Davies missed out on a contract after a lukewarm international year while Katherine Sciver-Brunt has announced her retirement.
