Nasser Hussain heaps praise on India’s lethal bowling attack

Cricket pundit Nasser Hussain has remarked that Australia will need to be above par in all departments to beat India in the final of ICC World Cup 2023. Australia’s journey to the final of the marquee event has been a testament to their bouncebackability. Despite a false start with defeats in their initial two matches, including a loss to India by six wickets and a crushing defeat versus South Africa by 134 runs, Pat Cummins and his troops proved their mettle by stringing together an eight-game winning streak to reach the summit clash.

The five-time champions will be up against the hosts, who are yet to bite the dust in the ongoing tournament. A major factor behind their sustained success has been the sparkling contribution of the bowling group, led by the on-song Mohammed Shami. Following India’s nervy victory over New Zealand in the first semi-final played at Wankhede, former England captain Nasser Hussain highlighted the brilliance of India’s bowling attack.
