Adil Rashid, despite the loss of his team the Northern Superchargers, put on yet another display of world-class white-ball bowling, on this occasion deceiving the Southern Brave’s Alex Davies with a wider, slower delivery that the onrushing all-rounder could only watch into the wicketkeeper’s gloves, the bails accordingly being whipped off.
Rashid took 2-19 off his 20 balls, a brilliant spell that was ultimately unable to prevent the Superchargers eventually losing by 5 wickets owed to an electrifying 72 from the Brave’s Quinton de Kock. But the England leg-spinner again reinforced his status as one of the best in the game with the white ball in hand, his continued absence in the IPL becoming more baffling by the day.
Is the match swinging in favour of Northern Superchargers? 🤯⚖️
