Southern Brave Women maintained their ascendancy in the points table despite going down against Manchester Originals Women, who climbed a notch higher to designate Birmingham Phoenix to rock bottom. This was Brave’s maiden defeat of the season, but a lead of one point over second-placed Northern Superchargers saw them keep the crown nonetheless.
It was the on-song Lizelle Lee who scythed 43 not out to hand Brave an upset on the virtue of DRS as murky weather played spoilsport.
âš« ORIGINALS WIN! âš«
A DLS victory for #ManchesterOriginals as they climb of the bottom of the table with a first win in #TheHundred.#SouthernBrave still top, despite their first setback of the campaign.
