Manchester Originals’ left-arm spinner Alex Hartley’s 3-29 was instrumental in restricting Southern Brave to a modest 123 in The Hundred Women’s competition. She snared wickets off consecutive deliveries towards the fag end of the innings, plotting the downfall of Maia Bouchier and Amanda-Jade Wellington.
While Bouchier ballooned a sitter off an ungainly hoick, Wellington chanced her arm with a reverse-sweep first ball only to be trapped plumb in front. Hartley let out a jubilant roar after inflicting the double whammy on her adversaries.
💥 TWO IN TWO FOR HARTLEY! 💥
The #ManchesterOriginals spinner was wicketless coming into this game – but now has three in the match! 💥💥💥
