Marcus Stoinis clubs Hritik Shokeen over mid-wicket

After Krunal Pandya walked back to the dugout, Lucknow Super Giants added 60 runs in the final four overs, thanks to a breathtaking innings from Marcus Stoinis. He fetches his highest score in the Indian Premier League by finishing unbeaten on 89 off 47. He was absolutely brutal tonight at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow . LSG have enough in the tank to walk away as winners. Mumbai Indians will need something special from one of their batters and probably need dew to aid them as well in the chase.

Stoinis was severe on Chris Jordan, in particular. The bowler did himself no favours by bowling a few dollies but Stoinis was calculative and authoritative at the same time. He managed to take the seamer down and hit him for two sixes and three fours to garner 24 runs from an over that really hurt the five-time champions.
