Kyle Mayers hits a sensational 114-metre six

Kyle Mayers and Johnson Charles have put up a century stand in short order against South Africa in the second T20I at the SuperSport Park in Centurion.

Earlier, in the first T20I of the series, the visitors had a stiff target of 132 in front of them, but it almost looked too easy at one stage before Sisanda Magala sent down an impressive penultimate over under pressure to keep South Africa in the hunt.

Brandon King went hammer and tongs in the PowerPlay and the big hits just kept coming from everyone that followed. In the end, it was captain Rovman Powell who saw his side home with a whirlwind knock of 43 off 18 balls. West Indies needed 8 in the final over, and Powell put West Indies on the brink of victory with a confident pull over square leg. The ball went deep into the grass banks as the Caribbean camp rejoiced.
