Deandra Dottin brought up her fifty with a boundary over cover to win the London Spirit’s Hundred clash with the Northern Superchargers at Lord’s. The Superchargers had put on 126-5 off their hundred deliveries, with Jemimah Rodrigues impressing again as she made a third fifty.
But the Spirit made relatively light work of the chase, with Tammy Beaumont’s 42 and Dottin’s unbeaten half-century propelling the home side to a seven-wicket victory. The win ended the Superchargers’ undefeated record, and having stemmed their own losing streak, the Spirit will be heralding the overdue arrival of the Barbadian star to the competition.
