Her efficient hat trick of catches was pivotal to Fire’s victory, with the first grab taken from inches above the turf. She zoomed in from deep mid-wicket to intercept a roaring pull by opposition captain Dane van Niekerk before adding an iffy second catch to her kitty. However, the third was another brilliant pouch as George ambled back from covers to nestle a skier into her bucket hands.
