The BCCI’s Twitter account has shared a first glimpse of the pitch to be used for the first Test between England and India at Trent Bridge, starting on Wednesday.
Much of the talk from the India camp has been qualms over how England would react to the dusty, spinning surfaces produced for the reverse tour earlier this year.
It appears their fears have been somewhat realised, with the surface looking just about as green as possible as England prepare to favour their seamers after a chastening trial by spin nearly six months ago.
